11. If the area of rectangular park is 16x2 − 40y2 − 24xy and one of its sides is 2x + 5y, find the length of adjacent side.
12. What should be subtracted from the polynomial m4 + 4m3 + m2 − 9m − 18 so that the resulting polynomial is exactly divisible by m2 − 3 − m.
13. By using proper identities, find the value of number that given below.
i) (106)2 ii) (96)2
iii) 295 × 305 iv) 842 − 162
14. Find the product of (m2⁄4 + 4⁄n2) (m2⁄4 − 4⁄n2) by using proper identities.
15. Using the identities evaluate the following
a) (100.2)2 b) (8.9)2 c) (100.3 × 99.7)
16. If p − 1⁄p = 4, then find the value of (p2 + 1⁄p2).
17. If m + n = 9 and mn = 15, then find the value of m2 + n2.
18. If m2 + n2 = 40 and mn = 12, find the values of (m + n) and (m − n).
19. Find the value of (p − 9) (p − 11) by using identity (x + a)(x + b) = x2 + (a+b)x + ab.
20. If the two adjacent side of rectangular corn field are 7a2 + 14ab + 6b2 and 3a2 − 9ab + 4b2, find its area.
